Edition Notes
Holograph, signed.
Eliza Wigham gives additional information about the articles sent to the bazaar. Miss Massie was advised to forward some London contributions through Glasgow. Wigham mentions especially the "valuable volumes of Handel's Oratorios." There is also a case of dried plant specimens and an autograph of De Quincy. Wigham writes: "The cause has lost a valuable friend by the death of old Miss Miller of Perth in her 93'd year---her last labour of love was sending her contribution to Boston a very short time before her death."
