Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

Maria Weston Chapman wishes Parker Pillsbury to appoint a day when she can see him in town, "for I wish much for a little conversation about the cause."

Includes accompanying envelope, with the delivery address: Parker Pillsbury, Esq., Concord, New Hampshire. The envelope is decorated with a engraving depicting a black couple sitting on the shore of a harbor, with the caption: "Haste happy day! The time we long to see, when every son of Adam shall be free!"
