Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

Samuel May, Jr., presumably sent this letter to Anne Warren Weston. Samuel May will gladly take some copies of the Liberty Bell to Rochester. He regrets that Anne Warren Weston is still troubled "with the business of the last [Liberty] Bell." Samuel May is willing to pay over a small sum belonging to the bazaar. On page three of this letter, there is a statement of accounts with the anti-slavery bazaar of 1851-1852.
