Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

The Boston Ladies' Peace Society has directed Caroline Weston to send this message and "...permit us now to assure you of the interest we feel in the Great Cause which you have espoused--of our earnest desire that men may learn war no more..." Caroline says that her society has been in operation for more than a year, has had frequent meetings and has "read & circulated many of the valuable publications of the the A[merican] Peace Society." She asks for a copy of the constitution of the Essex County Circle.
