Edition Notes

Holograph.

This unsigned letter is presumably by Maria Weston Chapman.

Maria Weston Chapman writes that three boxes for the fair have been sent off and have arrived in Havre. Chapman includes a list of their contents, with prices. There is also a list of donors [in Paris?], who made donations to the bazaar, who are listed for acknowledgment in the Liberator. There is private information about Chapman's own contribution. Chapman said: "Paris box is to bring 822 dollars. If it brings half that sum it will do very well."
