Deborah Weston discusses the contents of a lost bundle and a letter written jointly by her and Emma Weston. The plans of the the old organization were set out in the letter, which disappeared with the bundle. She hopes the letter doesn't fall into the hands of the new organization. She discusses the arrival of George Bradburn and the letters and articles from James Montgomery, Elizabeth Pease, James G. Alvord, and Wendell Phillips. Phillips compares Francis Jackson and George Thompson as speakers. Deborah writes: "E. Pease has sent ten little cards, with Daniel O'Connell's autograph in the centre..." She tells about a Chartist meeting in England. Caroline Weston has a very full school. Mary Parker stayed with the Grimke sisters when she was sick. Lucretia Mott had a speaking engagement at the Unitarian chapel.
