At head of caption title: Third Congress of the United States: at the first session, begun and held at the city of Philadelphia, in the state of Pennsylvania, on Monday, the second day of December, one thousand seven hundred and ninety-three.
Francis Childs and John Swaine were printers to the Congress in 1794.
Dated and signed at foot of broadhseet: Frederick Augustus Muhlenberg, speaker of the House of Representatives. John Adams, vice-president of the United States, and president of the Senate. Approved, February the twelfth, 1794. Go: Washington, president of the United States.
Two states noted. One, assumed to be Evans 27829, but for which no copy is located, includes statement of deposition: Deposited among the rolls in the Office of the Secretary of State. [blank] secretary of state. The other, Bristol B8956, is without this statement.
