Work Description

This is a biography of Cecil Eugene Shuford who founded the Department of Journalism at the University of North Texas (now the Mayborn School of Journalism). Shuford, known as Papa or Pop by his students, was a distinguished educator as well as an accomplished poet who wrote under the pen name Gene Shuford.
