Translated by Ulloa from the author's Spanish manuscript, which was never printed. This translation first published Venice, 1571.
Dedication signed by Bordoni and dated: Da Milano adi 4. Giugno 1614.
Other copies are described with the dedication signed "Cedare Parona," and his name on the title page in place of Girolamo Bordoni.

Without the dedicatory epistle by Moleto of the original edition, and with altered text. Fra Roman Pané's "Scrittura delle antichità de gl'Indiani [di San Domenico]" [here titled: "Raccolta di fra Romano de' riti, cerimonie, e costume de gl'indiani"] cap. I-XXVI, p. 253-290 (chap. LXI). Pané's work contains numerous words in Taino.
