Published on the occasion of the exhibition, Mexico: Expected/Unexpected, drawn from the collection of Isabel and Agustín Coppel, at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, Feb. 5, to May 15, 2011, and the Museum of Latin American Art, Long Beach Calif., Feb. 20 to May 15, 2011.
This exhibition is a collaboration between MCASD, MOLAA, CIAC (Colección Isabel y Agustín Coppel) and Mexico's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The MCASD and MOLAA installations are the result of a curatorial dialogue between Mireya Escalante and Ana Belén Lezana (CIAC), Lucía Sanromán (MCASD) and Cecilia Fajardo-Hill and Idurre Alonso (MOLAA).
Parallel texts in English and Spanish.
