No one but Charlie Cossini and her construction crew had ever proven immune to the lure of Haleiwa, Hawaii. Benjamin Valentine Gilmour, a man who gave new meaning to the term "idle rich," considered Charlie's devotion to her job perverse, since she was always too busy -- or too tired -- to notice his charm.
