After several escapades, Pinocchio returns home to be told that Geppetto, his father, has been swallowed by a whale. Bravely, Pinocchio and Jiminy go in search of Gepetto and rescue him. In doing Pinocchio fulfills the Blue Fairy's demands and becomes a real live boy after all.
