Although she wrote an autobiography about her experiences as a celebrity transsexual, Docter, a clinical psychologist and gender researcher clears up many of the myths about her landmark case. He traces her gender change journey, career as an actress, and media coverage. The book includes glamorous photos of Miss Jorgensen.
