The Clockhouse Community Centre and the History of Woolwich Dockyard

  • 1 Want to read

The Clockhouse, built between 1780 and 1789 was the central offices of the Royal Dockyard at Woolwich. In 1969 the London Borough of Greenwich acquired 22 acres of the old dockyard site including the Clockhouse which was refurbished and opened as Clockhouse Community Centre. A history of the Royal Dockyard is incorporated in this pamphlet.
