SCNHRB copy has stamp on verso of series t.p.'s: Smithsonian Instiution National Museum, Mar. 26, 1918; with accession nos.: 321643-321647. There is also an illegible autograph of a former owner in ink on t.p.'s.

SCNHRB copy of v. 4 has p. 457-458 (presumably a cancelled leaf) partially torn out, with a replacement leaf inserted before it.

SCNHRB copy has a later black buckram library binding with gilt-lettered spine; the margins of the text block have been cropped, slightly affecting some plates.
