Has holographic signature of Joseph de Acosta on title page, and a ms. annotation on the verso of the last leaf, indicating that this work was checked out by a prior general (order not specified) from that order's retreat house in Chuquisaca (modern day Sucre, Bolivia) on March 20, 1789.
