I have an original hard cover 1098 edition with deckle cut pages given to my seafaring great grandfather by the author and signed by him and he wrote
TO WILLIAM WINTLE WITH BEST WISHES OF THE AUTHOR signature S.S. BOSTON CITY NOV 26 1900.
Day must have been a passenger on the Boston City, the front cover is different from that you portray which is shown inside the
cover of my copy
I frequently read the poems/songs that conjure up the feel and excitment of nthe sea, especially TRAFALGAR 1805 page 13 frequently
