MASS copy 1: Bound in bright green morocco-grain cloth blocked in gold and blind. Upper cover blocked in gold with illustration similar to those within the text. Spine with imprint: "T. Constable & Co.". With pale pastel yellow glazed endpapers. With presentation inscription dated 1861.
MASS copy 2: Bound in green morocco-grain cloth blocked in gold and blind in the same design as copy 1. With cream glazed endpapers. Lacking upper free endpaper. In a later green calico cloth covered portfolio encased in a quarter green morocco and calico cloth covered slipcase with spine and morocco edges blocked in gold.
