This book is a cornerstone of the Poertry and Music from the jewish Gettos and Concentration Camps since it collects the direct reports obtained shortly after the end of WWII. Pages 361 to 431 contain well readable melodies with first line of lyrics translitterated for singing, while full lyrics in hebrew characters are provided in the preceding pages. Only few of the hundreds of Lyrics have Melodies, no harmonies are present. The 39 pages of introduction ( in hebrew ) are very helpful to frame the content. Some of the 24 b/w photos have strong visual content .
