Edition Notes
The 1995 edition has been hand-set in 24 pt Romulus designed by Jan Van Krimpen. It is printed on Zerkall mouldmade paper.
Originally printed in an edition of five copies at London College of Printing by Michael Caine in 1982. The seven outsize linocuts illustrating various extracts of Lorca's text were stolen and remain untraced to this day. This new reduced-size edition has been printed from line-blocks which reproduce the original linocuts engraved by the artist in 1982.
Signed and numbered edition of 80 copies.
The translation of 'Lament for the death of a bullfighter' by A. L. Lloyd was originally published by Heinemann in 1937.
