A defense of "The lawlesse kneelesse schismaticall Puritan" by Giles Widdowes, in reply to the appendix in "Anti-Arminianisme" by William Prynne, which was another edition of "The Church of Englands old antithesis to new Arminianisme"; and to "Lame Giles his haultings" by Prynne.
A reissue of the earlier edition of 1631 with cancel titlepage with "Published by command" added. A variant exists with "commande" rather than "command" in the title. Some copies of the present edition have "All-Soules" rather than "All-Soulne". Sig Q4 is blank and p.130-132 are misnumbered 140-142, and p.173-208 are misnumbered 171-206. Text and signatures are continuous despite pagination.
