Edition Notes
Refers to order of Parliament, 12 January last, to place a guard about the tower under Maj. Gen. Skippon, commander of the Guards of Parliament. This has been done, and the guards posted at the end of Tower Street and elsewhere. His dispositions are approved of as being for the real good service of King and Parliament. Any person arresting or troubling him violates the privilege of Parliament. -- Cf. Steele
