Edition Notes

At head of title: MDCLXXX.

Follows the Old Style calendar.

The authorship and printing are attributed to John Foster by Evans and in Nichols, C.L. "Notes on the almanacs of Massachusetts." Proceedings of the American Antiquarian Society, n.s., 22 (1912): 44. Except for the imprint, the typography of the title page is identical with that of his almanacs for 1679 and 1681, the type having been left standing from year to year with only the necessary changes.
