Descriptions in words and pictures of Chinese festivals. Mary Sing-Gieu Carleton wrote the text and a professional Chinese artist, name not given, did the lovely color pictures. The date of 1900 is probably wrong, because Carleton -- the Chinese adopted daughter of an American missionary doctor -- was only 13 years old then. The book was sold to missionary societies in the United States to raise money for Methodist missions in the Fuzhou area of China.
