'The duenna' is by Richard Brinsley Butler Sheridan.

A slip-song - "Had I a heart for falsehood fram'd".

In this issue the woodcut at head depicts a couple and that at foot a ship.

Mr Leoni = Michael Leoni, who acted in 'The duenna' at Covent Garden from 21 November 1775.
