Edition Notes

The title pages of Strong's almanacs for 1806 and 1807 published at New Haven identify Strong as the author of those formerly issued under the pseudonym of Hosea Stafford.

The eclipse predictions (p. [2-3]) and the astronomical notes and calculations on the calendar pages are practically identical with those in the almanacs issued simultaneously under Strong's own name at Hartford: An almanack for 1790 (Hudson & Goodwin), and An astronomical diary, kalendar, or almanack for 1790 (Elisha Babcock). The slight variation in part of the calculations reflects the difference in meridian between Hartford and New Haven.

Advertised in the Connecticut journal, New Haven, Nov. 4, 1789.
