Work Description

"Out of all the thousands of boys in the Empire, a boy from your school has been chosen for a high position in our government. You are summoned to report immediately to the palace." The soldier looked up at the students. "Which is the boy named Brill?" Thus begins Brill's adventure in the palace of Immane, cruel emperor of Exitorn. Forced to leave his mother and their little farm in Grebing, Brill journeys to Palatial Island where he will serve the royal family as a companion to selfish Emprince Grossder. Now Brill discovers that he must keep the Emprince entertained at all times or risk being thrown to the dinogators. He is determined to search for his missing father, but someone warns him not to ask troublesome questions. And, worst of all, he is becoming entangled in his friend Segra's daring plan to restore the rightful king of Exitorn. How can he and Segra keep from being caught and executed for treason? - Back cover.
