"To help the participants become aware of the importance of the unwritten psychological contract that exists between an employer and employee and of the way in which that contract is changing, to encourage participants to examine their own interpretations of the psychological contract, to expose the conflicting values and obligations that underline major corporate decisions, and to enable participants to experience one or more counterproductive psychological phenomena (adjustive reactions) that commonly occur among managers making stressful decisions in small groups."
