Originally published in 1915, this is W.G. Savage's interpretation of the 1909 Housing & Town Planning Act, with suggestions as to how it could be usefully applied in rural areas of England where the existing housing stock was poor and insanitary; and examples of where such remedial work had been successfully carried out.
