Vol. 1, pt. 1 contains a biographical sketch of Francesco Ageno, ambassador of Genoa at London from 1760 to 1781, and an historical account of the foundation and development of the British colonies in North America, by the editor.
Vol. 1, pt. 2 and v. 2 contain the letters of Ageno, covering the years 1770 and 1774-80.
