This book is the result of conferences between members of the author group which prepared the little volume, "Our economic life in the light of Christian ideals". Since a new edition of it was out of the question, it was agreed that a virtually new book should be prepared. This book is an attempt to sketch in broad outline what a Christian social order might be. cf. Pref.
