The aswang inquiry

DETECTING AN ASWANG

IF THE BOTTLE OF MAGIC OIL IS HUNG AT THE DOOR, THE OIL WILL BOIL if an aswang approaches.
Look at a suspected aswang straight in the eye in broad daylight. On Fridays one's image in the aswang's pupil is inverted. the toes of an aswang point upward. the aswang has no canal (philtrum) on his upper lip. An aswang may also be detected by his behavior in Church during the mass. When the priest blesses the people, the aswang will try to dodge the blessing. There are several ways of detecting the presence of an aswang at night. The bird cry of ''Kik-Kik'' or ''Kak-Kak'' or ''Wak-Wak'' indicates that the aswang is near. Strangers lurking under the house are suspect. A scratching on the roof at night is a signal to be careful . If it is not a roosting hen. it may be an aswang. if a baby cries for no reason at all, or the sick people suddenly becomes uneasy, there is an aswang about. A dog, cat,or pig with no tail probably an aswang in disguise.## Heading ##
