Morris' preparation of the original 1896 ed. of the Works of Chaucer at the Kelmscott Press, and an examination of the woodcut illustrations designed for that ed. by E. Burne-Jones. The remainder of the companion volume consists of 85 facsims. of the drawings made by Burne-Jones in preparation for his woodcut illustrations.
