The text includes D. Robinson's account of W. Morris' preparation of the original 1896 ed. of the Works of Chaucer at the Kelmscott Press, and an examination of the woodcut illustrations designed for that ed. by E. Burne-Jones. The remainder of the companion volume consists of 85 facsims. of the drawings made by Burne-Jones in preparation for his woodcut illustrations.
