Consists of t.p. and separator followed by 11 leaves of plates, separated by 11 semi-transparent leaves of text, all loose in portfolio (quarter red, blue boards, with title label & ill. mounted on upper cover).

Issued in a red drop-spine case, with clear glass window in upper cover.

"An edition of 25 books & 15 boxed suites ... Art Larson printed the letterpress & etchings at the new Double Elephant offices in Hadley, Mass. Shannon Brock of Brooklyn made the translucent abaca & cover papers. The etching paper is by Zecchi of Firenze. Lisa Van Pelt of Easthampton, Mass. was binder & boxer. Beasts were colored by Michael Kuch"--Colophon.
