Edition Notes

Leipzig, J.C. Hinrichs, 1894.

Schlatter's charge that Eusebius (Hist. eccl. 6, 7) erroneously attributed the authorship of a chronological work on the seventy weeks of Daniel to a Judas in the time of Sulpicius Severus instead of to Judas, bishop of Jerusalem in the time of Antonius Pius, has been variously challenged. cf. Bardenhewer, Otto. Geschichte der altkirchlichen Literatur, 1913-32. v. 2, p. 95-96.
