"Hungry bibliophiles was designed by Russell Maret and printed by him in two new typefaces of his design ... The paper is BHC 20-80 heavyweight, composed of 20 percent textile quality hemp, 80 percent textile quality cotton, unbleached fiber cooked in lime and washed during beating. It was made by Tim Barrett and student co-workers at the University of Iowa Center for the Book. The book was printed on unsized paper, which was then sized in a 3 percent gelatin solution by Barrett, Maret, and students. The long-stitch paper binding structure ... was designed by Maria Fredericks using papers made at UICB, and completed by a team of volunteers under her direction.
