Comprised of one sheet per month with illustration on recto and text on verso and a final sheet, printed on one side only which is an advertisement for publications illustrated by William Nicholson and issued by R.H. Russell, hence the publisher and place of publication for this item. The illustrations are adapted from those found in Nicholson's "London types".
Texts on verso include: January: Kensington, February: Trafalgar Square, March: Constitution Hill, April: The Tower, May: Newgate Street, June: The City, Jluy: Any bar, August: Wimbledon Common, September: Any corner, October: Envoy [manuscript?], November: Rotten Row, December: Hammersmith.
Rare Book copy: Small calendar for each month of 1904 glued to the illustration in lower right corner.
