These surveys gather comprehensive information on form of government, election systems, provisions for referendum/recall, and term limits, as well as characteristics of the local governing body. This disk includes the Municipal form of government surveys for 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, and 2011, and contains files of survey code sheets (pdf), survey instruments (pdf) survey data (comma delimited text format), and, survey response tables (Excel).
