Edition Notes
Title proper is followed on the t.p. by 13 sentences describing the index, gloss, and annotations.
Imprint from colophon (t.p. has no imprint information)
Includes Accursius's gloss with considerable additions ("glosarum adiectarum ccxviij"--colophon), arranged in an all-around layout.
The Casus longi are are intermixed with the gloss and other auxiliary matter (colophon states erroneously: ... [cum] Casibus longis in fine positis)
The illustrations are (in addition to the Arbor consanguinitatis on leaf 214) 22 small (30-36 x 74 mm) woodcut vignettes with scenes pertaining to nearby chapters; they appear identical with those included in the edition Venice, Lucantonio Giunta, 19 Nov. 1516.
Device of Octavian Scotus on last page (simple line cross over split circle with "O S / .M." amid floral designs).
Signatures: 2a-2c⁸ 2d⁶ a-z⁸ [et]⁸ [con]⁸ [rum]⁸ A-V⁸ X¹⁰.
Includes indexes.
LC copy imperfect: t.p. (sig. 2a1) and whole gathering 2d (prelim. leaves [25-30]) wanting.
