Includes, typographically distinguished, the texts of the 88 rules formulated at end of title 12 of book 5 of Liber sextus decretalium; each preceded by a set of numbered "argumenta" and followed by (Dinus's) commentary proceeding by the numbers. An apparatus of additions and other notes flanks or partly surrounds the commentary.
"Studiosae iuris iuventuti" (prelim. p. [3-5]), here anonymous, slightly modified and dated 1563, had appeared earlier (dated 1548) under the name of Charles Du Moulin (d. 1566), mid-16th cent. editor of Dinus' text. (The dedicatory letter on prelim. p. [7-8] is by N. de Bohier)
Device on t.p.: the Giunta lily (not Baudrier VI p. 256), unframed.
