The authors of Escape to the Everglades have written a teacher’s manual filled with activities to help students learn more about Florida and the Seminole people. Activities include crossword puzzles, recipes for Seminole foods, directions on how to play stickball (a Seminole sport), and instructions for making a gorget, a bead necklace, and a model of a chickee.
