Le tedim est l'une des langues parlées dans l'Etat chin du Myanmar (anciennement Birmanie). Ces langues sont toutes tibéto-birmanes et s'écrivent en lettres latines car la population est majoritairement de religion chrétienne. Elles portent le plus souvent le nom de la ville principale de la zone où elles sont parlées : tedim autour de la ville de Teddim, hakha (Hakha) ou mindat (Mindat). Le nombre de locuteurs de tedim est de l'ordre de 400000.
