I thought i read this, but in that book they were briefly living together as unrelated step-siblings. And he was mean to her ftom the start because her mom martied his dad, her mom marries a lot of rich men.
This book, they never actually lived together. She was a foster child. Her sauces were fruit inspired. Like apricot.
