From Amazon.com:
Bob Herron has written a gay comedy of manners with all the verbal sparkle and wit of Restoration Comedy. Young Moritz has come from the Heartland to the Big Apple equipped "only" with enough cash to get by for a couple of months even without a job,
looks that are apparently to die for and--oh, yes--a MOST significant physical endowment. Combine all the above with quick wits, a surprisingly strong sense of values, an unfettered sex drive and, well . . .
Herron writes comedy beautifully. Everything from the wry smile to the full belly laugh. The nice part about the book is that it is enjoyable even if the reader isn't familiar with the literary tradition he evokes. But if the reader does know Fielding, Wilde and (especially) Wodehouse, Moritz becomes even funnier as he careens from the Meat Rack to the board room, blowing and sucking and seducing all the way in persuit of true love.
"Moritz" reads effortlessly and is a delight from cover to cover.
