Each picture with legend.

Within single border (16.7 x 11.8 cm.); mostly devided into 2-3 frames.

On double leaves, folded accordion style (orihon).

LC copy has all pictures mounted on hard paper; possibly rebound with new covers.

LC copy imperfect: Title piece wanting; also some leaves torn apart from spine.

LC copy has a piece of paper pasted on p. [2] of cover, giving description of the book: "Album of over seventy prints illustrating Japanese and Chinese legendary subjects, ... by Hokusai"

Not listed in Kokusho sōmokuroku and Kokuritsu Kokkai Toshokan zōsho mokuroku, Meijiki.

LC copy has a book plate "WTE" or "TEW" pasted.
