Monday evening, May 22nd, 1876, first time in Washington for twenty years, Shiel's tragedy of "Evadne, or, The Hall of Statues" ... Tuesday and Wednesday nights, first time in Washington, "Berthe! The Daughter of Roland" A four act play, from the French by Henri De Bornier, produced at the Theatre Francais two consecutive seasons. Thursday, "Romeo and Juliet" Friday, "Meg Merrilies!" Saturday night, "Fazio!" "Evadne" matinee Saturday.
