Incorrectly attributed to Stephanus Michel Spacher. Cf. Choulant, L. Hist. and bibl. of anatomic ill.

The typeset pages are headed: A view of humane bodies. And first the figures B A on the left hand, representing the skin with its vessels or veins under it. - A dissection of humane bodies. Visio prima. - A dissection of the body of man. Visio secunda. - A dissection of the body of a woman. Visio tertia.

Catalogued from imperfect copy: lacks plates [1] and [3], i.e. the skin with its vessels or veins, and the dissection of the body of man. Cf. copy of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, on Early English Books Online (EEBO).

The first leaf of text following the title page is printed on both sides; all others printed on one side only.

Visio I has title 'Accuratissima corporis humani. Descriptio. Inventione Michaelis Spaher, Remelini, atq[ue] aliorum anatomiae peritissimorum. Londini sumptibus J. Moxon.'

With plates showing dissections of male and female bodies, with fugitive sheets.
