Godina je 2003., Bagdad. Počinje američka vojna intervencija u Iraku. Nakon bombardiranja u gradu vlada kaos. Dolazi do pljački i razbojništava. Samuel Madison iz Nacionalnog muzeja spašava ploču s tekstom Nahumove knjige iz Biblije. Međutim, poslije povratka u New York pogine u prometnoj nesreći, dok njegov brat John prolazi samo s lakšim ozljedama. Kad izađe iz bolnice, John otkrije da je Hal Vanderlin, prijatelj iz djetinjstva, ukrao ploču. No, ubrzo Hal umire pod sumnjivim okolnostima, a John dobiva pismo i USB na kojem se nalazi komplicirana Halova zagonetka. Ako je uspije riješiti, John će otkriti tajnu koja povezuje drevnu asirsku kulturu sa suvremenim svijetom. (source: back-cover)

Work Description

Samuel dies in a car accident, while his brother John lives through it with minor injuries. Six weeks later, family friend Hal dies from an overdose and John discovers that Hal stole from Samuel a valuable piece of art that Samuel saved from the National Museum in war struck Baghdad. A few days later, John, who decides to cooperate with the police, receives a post-mortem riddle from Hal. If he manages to solve it he will recover the lost art piece.
