Samuel May Jr. writes to J. Miller McKim that the Board of Managers of the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society decided to donate $100 for William Still?s fine, and that May is sending a $90 check after deducting $10 out of the $20 that Still owes May. May then discusses McKim?s temporary editorship of the National Anti-Slavery Standard and gives his own reason for not being able to go to England himself.
