SCNHRB copy is imperfect: 10e série, t. 10, no. 1-3 is wanting. The title leaf and p. 3-6 of 7e serie, t. 5 (1880) are wanting. The paper in several of the volumes is very brittle, with some pages detached and laid in.

SCNHRB copy of 6e série, t. 1 (1864) through 10e série, t. 4 (1912), and t. 115 (1932)-t. 119 (1936) are in modern brown buckram library bindings with gilt-lettered spines and faux marbled edges; with stamps: 1. (ink) Smithsonian Libraries [date varies]; 2. (blind-embossed) Smithsonian Institution National Museum. The original printed wrappers are bound in most of the volumes.
